A bit of a newbie question, but I've never seen behavior like this. Our full grown female for the last week or so, she has been acting strange. Much more restless and timid. She doesn't want to be held at all. (Very different from her norm.)
I was wondering if she was getting close to thinking about male company or something. Are we nearing that time? Some sort of gecko PMS?
I am thinking of offering a nest box at her next feeding, I guess I'm just looking for a second option, as I said, I haven't seen/ heard about this behavior before and it is our first full grown female gecko under our care, we've always had boys. (Oh, FYI, she's never been even in the same room as a male, she's 17 months, about 10 inches long and over 60 grams. Yes, she's a big girl to say the least. No change in eating or anything else out of the normal other than attitude.) Thanks in advance for all comments.
