Well, if the temp. is cool enough for your snake to be hibernating(brumating)then you should be letting it do just that, brumate. They will typically take drinks of water during this time, but you should NOT be feeding the snake if it is beeing "cooled down" for the winter. The snake will not be able to properly digest it's meal in these cool conditions, and the food item will rot in the gut instead. This in turn will lead to the snake regurgitating whats left of the meal,and can cause many health issues!!.........either brumate your snake, or do not..............Also, if it HAS eaten something recently, and you are going to let it brumate for the winter, make sure you wait, and give the snake two(2) weeks to digest(and deficate) anything before you lower the temp. back down. This will allow the snake to "purge" anything in it's system so it does not rot and make the snake sick. This is VERY important......hope this helps....................Doug
