Lucky, at least yours doesn't run first chance it gets. Although I've never been bitten by one with teeth so I don't know what it feels like. Kinda' funny though

Ralph, I think you must have picked up one with some serious attitude. Here's an eastern garter I found at work back in Oct. Never bit, struck or musked. I kept her for a couple of days and let her go. Most of the easterns I've found have been pretty well behaved.

I guess I'm the only one with an eastern garter that refuses to break first!! Oh well it could be good trainig for dealing with hot snakes since she is so fast and doesn't hesitate to bite.....
