Fed Rocky today, but I couldn't help but realize just how amazing these animals[rainbow boas, as well as all of the world's snakes] really are.
The power of these snakes is just incredible. When I say Rocky squeezed the crap out of the rat today, I mean he LITERALLY squeezed the crap out of that rat!
It didn't end at feeding time. After feeding, it must've thought there was another rat in the box(I put the box the rat came in inside the cage) and was sniffing around in there, what was more amazing was that he got his whole 3.5 ft body inside a box that's about 6 inches long! Well he sat in there a few minutes sniffing around and then tried to get out....through a hole wide enough for just his head to fit through. Pretty amusing watching him learn that he has to go further down to get out of the box.
