2006 Hatchling photos

RussBates Jan 15, 2007 07:08 AM

Four of these guys needed a five week stay in the cold to get theem to start eating. Now that they are back at 76-82 degrees they are chowing down. It's amazing what a little cold break will do for their attitudes. The yellow female titled LMT06F1 didn't need the winter nap and she is plump little girl. Can't wait to see what 2007 brings.

so do I. I think you may have let it stay at my house too long and now it can't leave. Everytime it sheds it looks better and lighter.

Mike Meade Jan 17, 2007 09:28 PM

"It"? Come on Russ...is "it" a he-it or a she-it?

"It" is so pretty it almost doesn't matter...

RussBates Jan 18, 2007 04:51 AM

but it doesn't smell or look like SHEE-IT

Thanks guys... I really appreciate the kind words. Oh, and thanks for signing my guestbook!! I am still trying to figure out how to get my logo to work on my website. Being a free hosting service, there isn't as many options. Been playing with HTML, but it still won't line up right. I'm sure I'll get it in time.

Chris, I sure am excited to see what Sharktooth produces. Are you breeding him this season?

no they are not. I just didn't have them consistently feeding yet however, I feel they are now. I've got too many thayeri as it is

serpentdan Jan 15, 2007 08:34 PM

Love that head pattern Russ. Never seen one like that. Is the color correct on that snake? It's sort of peach / gold. If it is, that is really cool.

Sorry, I thought your inquiry into the color of the snake was in your post above. This one is accurately represented but to me peach/orange is not the combo. IT's more of a orange w/ a light tan or brown mix. IT's a pretty snake and I'm thinking it will lighten up.

Thanks,
Russ

The more i look at this one, i really like the abberancies it has. is it male or female? The contrast is sharp.

Those are some beautiful snakes Russ. You consistently produce some of the best yellows out there, and they all have cool head patterns. Awesome snakes!

Thanks for the compliments. The snakes do all the work....I just feed and clean poop
Russ

Mike Meade Jan 17, 2007 09:25 PM

Those are all super nice, especially the yellows. The pair I got from you are eating like pigs and getting prettier all the time. Thanks for everyting!

RussBates Jan 18, 2007 04:52 AM

I'm glad you like them. They are really neat snakes and this line is especially hardy feeders. I've got a few adults that will come out of the box to eat....if you know what I mean.
