I just got my first pair of hogs, and would like any info on keeping them. They are babies and I keep alot of Pituophis which live in the same conditions.I was told they can't have to much humidity, Also what is the best subtrait,I use critter care ,recycled newspaper ,I like aspen shaving but afraid of slivers in mouth ,so thats what I use on my bull,gophers is this OK.Also if youf feeding pinky parts what is the best part to feed them,THANK YOU,P-RAT

You can keep them the same as your pits. As for feeding pinkie parts, why? they should be able to eat a whole pinkie.

Well the person I got my little girl from says thats what she is eating right know and she is so small that the pink[small one] is bigger then her.I belive she is only 3-4 weeks old.THANKS,P-RAT I will take a picture and post it

Here is a pic of the female hognose I was asking about feeding pinky parts.She is small or is this the norm for them at a couple of weeks old.I got her from a professional breeder and he said thats what she eating,P-RAT

I fed some of mine fuzzies out of egg.

They have pretty big mouths!
