shedding ?

my normal retic when she sheds she only shed her top part of her body she don't shed her belly she been doing that since we got her . i mist the cage to up the moister in the tank but it didn't work . does that happen with retic some times?

You should use a humidity box or soak the animal when it goes into blue to help moisten the skin. Spraying the enclosure usually does no raise the humidity to a high enough percentage to aid in complete ecdysis. A snake only shedding its dermis or venter is a classic sign of low humidity levels. Although you really only need high humidity (60-70%) during ecdysis. Constant moisture will cause many health problems. Hope this helps.
