Rat food Question

darkpythons666 Jan 15, 2007 01:12 PM

I was running low on my rat food at the same time my rat supplier was out of rat food. Since the rats were low on rat food (but not entirely out) I placed the dig food in the feeder slot. I juct checked on the rats, and they only ate the dog food. It appears that the rat food was left untouched. I have six rat tubs with about 5 adult rats in each, so I doubt it's a coincidence. Any thoughts?

Rats love new foods and that is part of it. Also I have never seen a rat block that competed with dog kibble and stale cereal for favorite with rats.
