First.....There are no guarantees in boa breeding!

You probably are not doing anything wrong, except worrying too much. LOL

Sometimes they just won't go! Sometimes it just takes months of having a male court them.

We have one female, that this is her 3rd or 4th year with a male. She has been actively courted every year. She has yet to produce any babies. Last year she appeared to have some preovulation swelling and then slowly deflated. I assume she reabsorbed. This year the male has been all over her for months now, and still nothing. I still have my fingers crossed though.

How long have you had the temps low? Is the male still actively courting? Are you, or have you fed them? How long have they been together?

Best of luck!

I don't drop my temps that low at night. Only down to about 78 and a high of 83 or 84 during the day.

In 2005 I bred this female:

I bred her successfully after trying to do so for eight years. Sometimes they do not come easy. Getting "under the tail" is not necessary or the norm. Most of the time they are only along side it when they copulate. This is one of the babies I waited eight seasons for:

Patience. In breeding Boas, sometimes you must have a whole lot of patience. Without it, Ball Pythons are a better choice to breed.

Better late than never I always say, though I don't believe in it, good luck!
