WWWWWWHY, dont soooooooooo many of the big breeders EVER update their page, isnt that their livelyhood? Isnt that how they make $$$$ ?

LOL, maybe some of em big enough that word of mouth is all the advertisin' they need. It IS frustrating though, isn't it?

Yeah,
I've seen some that haven't been updated in years.

I did very very well this year both at shows and online, I try and keep my website up to-date and for the most part it is, if an animal is sold its pulled off, but I by no means have everything that I have listed on the site from pure lack of time.

Taking the right picture, keeping the listing updated with proper weight and new pictures is tuff. I did 16 shows last year, and while I always say I'm going to get it done this week it just never happens. Things sell to repeat customers, or at a show to random people and while I'd love to have 100% of my animals listed or my home page always up to-date, I just don't think it will ever happen.

I've been looking to hire someone for a while now that does not mind cleaning rats / snakes, is good at it, does not let things go and does not have to have all their work inspected AND IS TRUSTWORTHY BUT I have not found that person yet.

I LOVE being 100% full time (3 years now) but its much much more work than people think. If you truly care about your customers and want to help them also succeed you spend hours each day on the phone, most of the time just answering questions, not selling, just helping others figure out a problem or help them with breeding or their incubator.

We have let our pages become nearly dead as we have been building a new site behind the old one.....

The new Ball Python section is almost done and will have 100 pages of mutations. Some grueling work just to do that!

So we have left our's idle while we make something MUCH nicer!

especially for you.....all high and mighty evil one....

you could have had some wood's sprites setup all your for sale and available pages and a couple ugly trolls just delete them out as they are sold......the elves could have helped you setup the new pages while any old dead soul answered the phone.....
