Is this a good size bulge?

Herplover95 Jan 16, 2007 08:02 PM

Well I've decided to give Yink 2 very small hoppers every other week. And one normal size hopper between. I wanted to know if this is a good size bulge?

Sometimes it's hard to tell by looking at photo's but from what i see it looks to me like he can take a full grows adult mouse with no problems at all... maybe even 2!!

How big / old is this snake??

She was born in Aug. of 05. So she's like a year and a half and maybe 30 in. at the most. She's very small for her age.

definitely start upping the size. It's been my experience that cornsnakes should be on adult mice within the first year. They are normally aggressive eaters that can handle alot of food. Just keep increasing the size as long as she is accepting it.

By that size and age I would expect adult mice to be her norm.
For reference my rainbow boas which are currently no larger in girth then an adult corn and arround 4.5 ft long are taking down 1-2 small rats a feeding. And at 18 inches when I got them they started off with a couple of hoppers a week each.

She is probobly small for age cause you are feeding her hoppers! A few small adult mice for that girl!
