thanks for the info the other day, any more info would help. well here is a pic's of him they said they got it at a show and is cb 2 years old i say it shell is 5in range but they did not have the best lights i think they were zoomed heat bulb for him. i going to try to put him outside in the summer

I've never used cypress mulch indoors but I tried it once with my outdoor box turtles who are native to this area & they avoided it like the plague. Sulcata station suggests a mix of organic top soil & bed a beast or plain hay. If they have hay then they can eat the substrate without a problem.

I've visited behind the scenes of 2 different zoos & I noticed that they use A LOT of cypress mulch for many many different reptile species.
You'd just have to try it & see if it works or not.
Don't hesitate to ask questions if I can't answer them hopefully someone can.
