There is a pair for sale in the classifieds. I don't know anything about the seller but the price is pretty good compared to what I paid last season.

Brian @ BHB still had some a few weeks ago and you will sleep better knowing they are 100% Hets coming from him!
I wish I would have thought about Brian last year. I am confident about the gentics on mine but I would have rather bought from BHB if I had known he was selling them. I am really looking forward to seeing his website.

Checked it out and it looks like I wont be making any lavender albinos until the market crashes.
Thanks
Just wait and see how well the Lavs do!
Bob Clark proved out the regular albinos 15 years ago in '92, and they are still over $1000, RDR proved out Lavenders in '01 so as a morph they are basically NINE years behind regular albinos...even if you started with a pair of het babies this year, do you think you would be able to recoup your investment and then some within 9 years assuming they decline at a similar rate? Pastels were proved out in '97...5 years AFTER regular albinos...how does their value compare to even regular albinos today? Even though the "sky has fallen" baby albinos still sell for over $1000 FIFTEEN years after they started....
Actually, the effective pace of regular albino reproduction was probably far greater than lavs at this stage in their captive propogation period because for several years they were the only significant morph and everyone was breeding for them, and new blood was drought in from africa every year...far fewer lavs come in, and so many breeders have chased pins, lessers, and various codoms rather than lavs.
When you consider how spectacular lavs are in person compared to many other simple recessive morphs, coupled with their elite category of rareness, it could well be argued that there isn't another project out there with as much legs, and conversely, there is no better long term investment in ball pythons.
I have a DBL het Lavander Albino X Caramel Albino that we got from RDR. He is breeding this year to normals and hopefully to our caramel 50% poss het ghost female. we will see. Lavanders are amazing and well worth every penny in my opinion, i think their crosses will be crazy..
Just my opinion, Who dosent love a snake that just gets better with age ??
