My veilded chameleon is about 7 months old and seems to be growing up healthy and strong. The other day I noticed a small brown redish patch on his lower lip, it looks almost like a tiny scab or something. I wasn't sure if this is a sign that something is wrong.

keep an eye on it...it could be the beginning of mouth rot.
