i have been reading a lot about kinking in caramels is this with all lines or do some lines kink and others dont i cant afford to buy a caramel im trying to get one from het to het breeding once my babies are old enough all the caramels i have seen from NERD look fine its just a concern i mean my het caramel is perfect not a thing wrong with him and eats like a pig just want to know what to expect in the future

it seems to me that your best bet is to buy unrelated animals...Im sure that non-kinked animals have come from sibling breedings,but I would try to get unrelated lines to breed together...also,I have heard that NERD has two differant lines that are incompatable,you might want to investigate a little further on this,and maybe find out which NERD line you have...
(BTW, SATAN,if you are reading this,do you have incompatable lines of caramels???)...abx.

Yes, it seems I do. One is more yellow and one more purplish.....
I did not expect it to be this way but I have bred ghost together and made double hets from two incompatible lines.
I think most if not all Caramels have the potential to kink and that must be the way the genetics work with them. Incubate them a bit on the cool side, that seems to help fix the problem.
