I recently purchased an imported Savanah monitor for my son. He has been wanting one forever and I finally found a nice healthy-looking import with a nice disposition so I bought it. I want to go ahead and worm it JIC. I was thinking Panacur. I have never used it before but I keep darts and I know its safe to use on them so I know that safety is not a big issue. My problem is dosage. Does any one have any suggestions on the panacur or any other equally safe alternative. Thanks for your time. Chad

Also, I have heard that preventative worming might not be a good idea. I have no idea if this animal has parasites, I am just going off of the idea that almost all WC animals do. I am planning on aking him to the vet next month. Thanks
