i have just been so busy with work, work, work and work. then i went to cancun for a week, which was a blast and i would steal the fruit from the breakfast bar and feed it to the wild iguanas that lived in the resort. the first time i fed one of the males he was so excited that he tried to eat it out of my hand and bit me pretty good instead. so i wrapped a tissue around my finger and continued feeding them like any normal person would do and then i went and cleaned it out. as soon as i got back i had to start teaching again. things are starting to slow down a little but i don't really know if i want them to!

mexico city is notorious for kidnapping wealthy people and people that look like foreigners on business because the companies will more than likely pay to get them back. colombia also has this problem.

i have never heard of many kidnappings in cancun, although, once i told them how much money my family has they would probably just return me for free.

i never go on vacation. usually i go visit family members but as for true vacations, i haven't been on one in years. that was my first time to latin america since i left chile in december 2001.

the igs were nice, they weren't the green ones. they were actually kind of grayish and they had longer snouts than green igs and had little sail looking things on their backs. all 4 of us forget cameras so i don't have a picture of one. anyone have any idea what type of ig they were?

everyone here is still alive. lucia seems happy although her back legs really don't work that well. they have been sleeping alot lately. kaiser is his same mean self. i try to touch him some times and as long as he hisses at me then i know he is doing ok.

Hi, Vonnie

It's good to hear from you. I'm glad everyone is still alive--that's always good news.

I don't know what kind those iggys are, but I've seen them before; I know just what you're talking about. Actually, iguana lover that I am, I always thought those guys were kinda ugly
