Very Nice! I've been down that way many times and never seen a wild one. I live in northern ohio and all i've ever besides aquatic water turtles in one eastern box turtle and that was 5 years ago. Its scary how fast the wild populations declined in northern ohio. It would be neat to see tortoises like that in the often roaming freely!!

Your making me drool.....out of site beast ! We have gophers down here in Fl. Cant own one for a pet or breeding ,but if you give the state some of your wetland or money if you dont own any unbuildable wetland as a trade off,you can bulldozer whole colonies. Vast tortoise death by the vishions of the annointed grimreepers of polyphemus.
