I just got my first leo last night and now I just want some feeding advice. First, she is in a ten gallon tank with an UTH and a 75 watt light during the day. I'm using papertowels as a substrate. Anyway I put some mealworms in a dish last night but she wasn't that interested. I picked her up last night around feeding time anyway and the enclosure had both mealworms and crickets so I think she'll probably take the crickets. I was wondering what you all use to gut load yours. I was going to buy some of that commercial gut load stuff but I think I'd rather give them what I already have at home. I read that the mealworms sort of go into 'hibernation' mode when they're refrigerated, so I'm guessing I should take them out of there to gut load them (?).
Also what do you all use to keep the crickets uh, under control? I mean, so they don't get all over the damn place?
