gestation?

How long is the gestation of brbs, and do you count from ovulation or the POS? Most every page I read disagrees, or gives a very big range for the gestation period.. Figured I might as well ask those who'd know it best.

Gestation is about 5 months

...Gravid BRBs shed different numbers of times during gestation. They typically shed 2 to 4 times from last observed mating until parturition. Some of them lay babies while they are opaque. The best indicator I know is that most litters are delivered around 5.5 months after the last observed mating.
