The Easterns were wide awake today, their first day at room temperature in 6 weeks, they've been laying in the sand with their ribs stretched out as though trying to absorb heat, and digging furiously in the corners of their tank.
I noticed when I got home from work that one of them did a sand poo (with a calcium blob in it too). I was devastated, they havent been on sand since November/Early December. I was thankful that they both seemed ok, and that it was not undigested food that might have rotted in their insides, nonetheless, it is concerning, is there anything I can/should do? It has clearly been in the digestive system since before brumation at least 7 weeks ago (I put them on tortoise pellets after they were licking the viv a lot, and pooing sand to be sure they were clear 10 days before allowing them to sleep).
They both had a drink this morning, I hope they will pass any more that might be lingering, or that if they eat next week that might help it to pass, I didnt want to bath them as they seemed really skittish and paranoid of any movement, any advice?
