Ah, the winter's got me going stir-crazy! Post some pictures of your coachwhips, I'd love to see some of the beauties that everyone has.

By the way, is anyone expecting any babies come spring/summer? It's too early to tell for mine, but I'm hopeful.

Real cool (!) piceus to be enjoyed! My pair of '06 US-born testaceus are brumating as well... No picture yet.

Thanks, Jerry, for helping to wait for the Spring!

MAN! That piceus is a LOOKER! He looks a lot like my big male piceus, except mine's got a lot more pink in him. Gorgeous snake!

Here's my male Western!!

coluber Feb 02, 2007 04:47 PM

As I mentioned in my earlier message 'Coachwhip in the U.K.'
..He has a great temprament, only bit me once and that was my fault...
I approached him incorrectly (hand to the head). He's doing very well to say he's travelled so far.

Regards to all...Paul (more photo's please guys!!!)

hah that look is priceless, he looks annoyed, id guess hes thinking something along the lines of "get that thing out of my face idiot..."

nice shot (:

When do yours start eating again ? My new ones haven't started yet, the old ones are eating just fine though.

The two new girls.

Older male and female from last year.

The younger male.

P.S. What is the eye colour of your coachwhips, two of mine have gold eyes, while the others have orange. I think the gold is stunning, esp as the male with them is so tame you can look right into them. you can even stroke his face and he won't flinch or anything.

I'm in a position where its hard to cool my snake down as I only got him in November and the dealer knew little of how to
treat Coachwhips. So I decided to keep him going through our
English winter with heat and food.Hopefully he will keep going now till next winter when I can slowly cool him and get him into the correct cycle.

Nice photo's guys (keep them coming)
