First year female

KenCasstevens Jan 18, 2007 11:58 PM

This pretty leonis female will breed for the first time this spring. I believe I'm going to pair her up with my lime green male. I bought her as part of a trio last year. The guy I bought them from said he aquired them from Richard Bartlett. I can't wait to see what she produces.

Here is the other female from that trio. I love the butterfly pattern on her head. She's a little smaller than the other female, but I hope I can get her up to weight to breed.

One more pic of her.

She is beautiful and very reduced black. I love her head.
Who are you pairing her with?

I think I am going to give my green male double duty on these two to make up for last year. I still wish I could find his female that escaped. I know it's been almost a year, but I still keep hoping that one day she'll show up. Wishful thinking I guess.

He is my favorite of all your thayeri. I love how his saddles are so thin and small. Next time I am over your way we are going to take him outside and get some pic's. He is so lime green in person.

Thanks Tony. Have you got any pics of your green male?

She is beautiful, I bet you get some gourgeouse green babies from that pairing. I can't wait to see them.

Great saddles, reminds me a lot of that buckskin female I showed you but I sure do like the ground color of this girl of yours! Pairing her up with your lime green Vermilya male (I assume he's the one?) should certainly be a winning combination.

Awesome saddle and ground color combination on this female Ken... what a great leonis!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mike. Yeah, that's the male I'm pairing her up with. I can't wait to see what they produce. Hopefully I'll get a few greens.

Ken,
That might be my line depending on how old that animal is. I sold Bartlett a thayeri in 2004 or 2005...don't remember which. Send me a few pics of that snake from the top and full body and I'll bounce it against my hatchling photos from that year. I keep all of my email from sales so there is a good chance that if in fact it was one he purchased from me then sold to you I can track it down and show you pictures of the breeders.

Assuming you are interested.
Russ
