that video of that rabbit atacking that huge gopher snake? If you havn't shoot me a e-mail and I will forward it to you.
This morning taking my kids to school we saw something I have never seen before. There are some large alfalfa fields near my house and since they are bare this time of year you can see wildlife sometimes etc....
Well,I saw a coyote hauling ars across the field and not twenty feet behind it were two large does chasing it????what was up with that?

I got that video. I couldn't beleive the rabbit. She must have had young in the area and didn't want them to become his next meal. The doe's must have been out to deal revenge. I bet that was a hell of a sight seeing them chase him off. You know one of the doe's might have had a young one hiding and was making him leave before he caught scent of it.

Good point,
I wish I would have had a video of it. I have never seen anything like that.

I saw that video too, but it was too fuzzy on my computer to tell what kind of snake it was. Glad to know. I've watched it time, and time again, and I couldn't tell. Crazy video. I would have loved to see those does chasing that coyote. That's probably a once in a lifetime sight.

It's been a long time since this forum was up that high. That's good to see. C'mon folks- surely we can't let the Box turtle forum beat us.

Southern pine, the male is a little nasty. but she is a sweetheart. if you catch him before he comes out from under the bedding you are ok but if you let him get out and face you he will bite. She on the other hand is a just laid back.
