ok so its not a whole escaped colony but a cricket escaped from my room and made it downstairs. its now hiding out somewhere and annoying us at night, is there any kind of trap i can set up to catch this little pest ??

Yeah... a waterdish... they can't resist them.. they're like 'I must drown myself'...
I've heard they're very strongly attracted to beer, and you probably could get it to drown themselves in a saucer of that.
