since the python forum is usually pretty dead, I figured I'd post it in here. Something that made me happy to see last night, my 12.5' albino labrynth burmese female locked up with her 8' albino labrynth boyfriend. WOOOO HOOOOOOOOO (pardon the dirty cage, he shed and I didn't want to disturb them when I saw this going on.)

and here's a summer pic of the girl back in august, she wanted to work on her tan on a sunny day. needless to say the neighbors all came running out to see her, she is a sexy beast afterall.

so now, as I'm sure everybody will agree, this spring is NOT GOING TO COME FAST ENOUGH!!!!! I have 4 hopeful pairings-
1) arabesque het albino x sunglow
2) arabesque x pastel
3) albino x het albino
4) albino labrynth burm x albino labrynth burm

Now comes the waiting game, I hate this part...

and just for kicks, a holdback from last year, the result of an albino x argentine breeding. it's a girl....

boas aren't to shabby themselves. How old and heavy is your arab. het. albino because they say being on t.v. add's 10 lbs. but I think she got MORE, haha n/p.

actually one of the biggest arabs Ive seen yet. She's 100% het albino, she's a 2003, was originally a holdback of Pete Kahl, for some reason, he let her go, and now she's mine. She measures out around 7.5' and was weighed before the male was introduced, early October, she weighed in at 26lbs on an empty stomach. So I have high expectations out of her. They have been breeding since.... first copulaion was witnessed October 16th, and it's been on/off since. She has been swelled for some weeks, but like you, I have yet to see an ovulation or shed. Last year I had a litter where the female ovulated, but never did shed, so my predicted birth date was WAY off. As long as I get babies, I'll wait... here's a few more pics just for size comparison. both of these pics were back in April 2006, she has been pounding XL rats since then and has grown considerably.

Just for fun, here's a list of my snakes and ages.... not too shabby considering I am 21 years old... The big guys need to watch out, I'm catching up...... hehe Hopefully picking up an Aztec in Daytona this summer.

I have an alb female in with a hypo arab poss het alb male. I did not notice an ovulation but I have left them alone for the past 3 or 4 days. Well last night she gave me a shed so I will have to keep an eye on her to see if she starts swelling up.
