Ok,this may easily be one of the most frustrating things I've ever done. I need to know from anybody that has this program,what program(other then serpwidgets) created this? That is all I need to know and then it will work!

not sure what you are asking.
As far as I know Serp (Chuck Pritzell) wrote the code for the snake measurer.
I think it is soley a serpwidgets creation.

Simple.... click on the Download file on Serp's site.
Download the file to the folder of your choice.
Go to that folder and double click on the snake measurer folder and follow instructions.

It doesn't work. Windows keeps asking "what program to use to run it". Windows doesn't support it. At least not the newer versions. I've been trying as well.

I've got Windows XP works fine for me.

Ok, then I am not doing something right. I have XP also. I think I'll just cut a 6 foot clear plastic tube length ways, attach it back together with hinges and a couple of clasps, mark off 1 inch increments and measure my snakes that way. I think that would be faster for me than trying to figure the snake measurer out...LOL
