Salty/Siamese Hybrids

MikeT Jan 20, 2007 06:12 PM

Just wondering if anyone has these or has seen them. Wondering what you think of them. How they look? How they compare to a Nile in look and temperament, behaviour etc..
Thanks for any input!

There was some discussion on this subject a couple weeks ago, im sure you can find on the postings on this board.

But in short, these hybrids here in the USA look very much like pure siamese, not sure why, maybe the mother was a siamese which causes them to look like siamese.

This smae type of hybrids being bred in Asia look very much like pure Saltwater.

I have had some experiance working with this type of hybrid that was bred here in the USA and pure Siamese, I find them to be very aggressive and very very active animals, very cool animals for display because they put on quit a show compared to the average crocodile.

Thanks. I do remember reading a bit back that the hybrids look more like siamese than salties. Though I don't seem to be ablt to find that thread. There's a 3-4 footer in the classifieds that I thought looked pretty neat. Any thoughts on that one?
Thanks again.
