Three eggs??

Aisha May 20, 2003 11:47 PM

My leopard gecko Aisha had two large eggs (one broke removing it from a piece of slate) a week before Lucy layed her two small eggs. None of the eggs where good (first clutch) never harden. A week after Lucy had her eggs I was mixing the humid box and I found another egg??? It was bad too and had been there a while but I had never heard of this. Has anyone else????

Actually, I had a girl lay 4 eggs at the same time a week or so ago. They're all fertile to boot

hi, just wondering cuz my female looks to have 3 and its been about 4 weeks since mating. this is her first time too so...i guess we're both nervous!

Both of mine interacted with my male around the same time but Lucy layed her's over a week later. I'm almost a 100% positive the third one was her's too.

It is uncommon but not unheard of that a leo will lay three eggs. Or maybe she laid the first two and then laid the third later on. Whatever happened, it is an unusual occurance but nothing to worry about (just check more often after the second clutch comes around).
