Hey Adam,

He's the same snake I posted below... 2006 offspring of the yellow male in the photo on the main Mexicana Kingsnakes page. You need a male like this for Evelyn to bring out that incredible yellow she carries!

yeah, next year i hope to pair her up with "Lenny" the yellow vivid male i got from you, i think that will be a nice pairing, but Lenny is my back up male this year so if my big "classic" male doesnt get the job done he will step up to the plate, what i am hoping to get this year is classics with hints on orange, obvioulsy i will have to wait to see what happens. but mabey in a few years we will talk "Breeder Loan" just for fun to see what happens

talk to you later Mike

Your welcome Mike. Glad he is with someone who love Thayeri as you do. Mike Bod.

The little dove gray nose poking through. Great pic, Mike.

If anyone knows how much I appreciate these animals it's you Mike. We're a lot alike that way. I only hope I do as well with the breeding end of things so I can repay the favors one day soon. You are definitely a friend in this hobby I can trust and I've never had a better experience doing business with someone. I'll never be able to thank you enough.

Awesome colors. He's so bright, he looks like candy. He certainly is eye candy!

mexicanamak Jan 23, 2007 10:09 PM

He certainly is nice to look at... I look forward to his meal time so I can get him out and look him over. Very calm male as well.

I just can't beleive how bright he is. He reminds me of a sunrise, bright and beautiful.

Thanks Michelle. He's as bright and colorful as his father... the yellow male on the Mexicana Forum main page. What helps this guy is his even more reduced black borders. I think he's the ultimate blend of both parent's traits. I should pair him up with one of your amazing super-reduced black females one day!

That has got to be one of the best yellow thayeri Mike B. has produced. He looks alot like and maybe even better than Mike's 2005 screamer "Badge".

I think so too Chris, that pair of his produces some special ones each year. I also have a female from last year's bunch... she's not this bright yellow phenotype but she carries it, and her pattern is gorgeous. She should be a good mate for Big Yeller Jr. one day.

Mike, we will have to find you the perfect female for that guy. I hope to have some very reduced ones this year and maybe some with green. But they would compliment each other nicely.
Thanks for the compliment on the "super reduced females"
they have been a long time in the making.

I like the idea Michelle and wish I had one of your great females growing up here already. I'll be in the market for a really nice one as soon as it's my turn, that you can count on. I'd love to see Mike B end up with a nice one or two also, he could work wonders with that stuff. The areas where those red-orange saddles meet that bright yellow with no black border looks spectacular! Could you imagine these bright yellow snakes with as much reduced black as some of your best? Maybe you and Mike need to trade a few thayeri?!!

And you are more than welcome for the compliments, you work very hard and truly love your animals... they are well deserved.

thank you Mike, you are always to kind and such a great friend!
Yes, I would love to see Mike B work his wonders with a no black yellow with red banded thayeri! Couldn't get any better than that.
And yes Mike and I may have to do some trading if he would like. I would love to own one of his nice yellow animals.
Thanks again,

And I thought the one I got was nice! Man that critter smokes!!! BTW Mike contacted me and the female I got is a sib to your male.

KenCasstevens Jan 22, 2007 02:21 PM

Beautiful color! I just love bright orange tails, and his is gorgeous. I could never get enough of looking at him. Extraordinary animal!

mexicanamak Jan 23, 2007 09:56 PM

I like the orange in the tail too and I hope he keeps some of it. His brother was a really nice orange snake and a couple of this male's sibs had some nice orange nearly full length with the yellow up front. Tony has one of those and I bet she looks mighty nice!

Your female IS that nice! I remember two sibs that were as you describe and I've seen pics of the orange male sib to Mike's yellow male. If your female is the one I think she is, I'm looking forward to seeing her as soon as you can post pics. Awesome looking bi-color yellow and orange?
