housing and sleep help.

I am kinnda hoping someone can give me an answer to my dragons behavior. I have 2 female bearded dragons that live together which i bought last week off a lady who couldnt look after them anymore. They are both a healthy size and look good but one stays out and eats her food etc... and the other one keeps digging a whole in the sand and going to sleep. she doesnt seem interested in anything at all. She wakes up, looks around but doesnt move from her bed. The viv temps are 100 under the basking spot, 90 in the middle of the viv and 78 at the cooler end. when i move her out and wake her up she stays out for all of about 20 mins and then goes and finds another hole to sit in. Any help would be great. I thought brumation could be the possible cause But in all the years of keeping bearded dragons i have never had one brumate before. My light cycle is my lights come on at 7:30 in the morning and go off at 9 at night and i have a purple night glow bulb that is meant to mimmic moonlight that comes on at night. Any tips or help would be great. thanx

You have 2 new Dragon's. I would get a fecal done on them both since you don't know when or if ever it was last done.

Shoot for 105 at the basking spot. What size tank are you using? Were the dragon's housed together before you got them? Did their enclosure come with the Dragon's? Are these adult Dragon's? How long/heavy are they?

Brumation is a possibility. I can expand more on that when I have more information. The other possibility is stress. My concern is that the tank you are using is too small. I'm thinking this by looking at the temps. you listed. Ideally, the background temp.(air temp) on the hot side should be about 85. You list 90 in the middle and only 100 on the basking spot. This leads me to believe that either your tank is very small or it is being heated improperly.
