looks good! just make sure to monitor the temps on that bottom tub, it's going to be a good 10-15 degrees cooler than the tubs on the top since it's right on the floor.
I read you should never put a leo enclosure on the bottom of the floor. Always keep it up high. I think it has something to with the temperature. The higher the warmer it is and thus easier to maintain the temperature for the cage. Other than that...it looks great, your rack!
well. the bottom enclosure is too tight so i cant use it anyway..lol
Looks good. I am looking to build one myslef. Can you help me out a bit please? You are using heat tape right? I just heard about heat tape not to long ago but not sure how it works. I would like to build something similar to what you have. If you wouldn't mind explaing how and what you used to make it i would appreciate your help very much! Thanks yeller,OH YEA LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
hey, i just bought some 28 qt containers from wal mart. 3.97 a piece. Then i bought 2 sheets of melamine from home depot. the measurments of the containers i cant exactly remember. I think it was around 16.5 wide and 22.75 deep. I origanaly planed to put 10 containers but miscalculated because of the "gap" between top of container and botom of next shelf. so i just built up and cut off the extra. Be sure to remember to add in the wood thickness were needed start by putting bottom and sides together then put a container in...with a piece of cardboard undernieth to give some room for them to slide in and out freely.(what i forgot on bottom) build up from bottom using cardboard and container for spacing. when done i used some iron on stuff for the face were it was wood finished. I ramble alot sorry, Its SUPER easy im sure i made it sound hard but its not. I used a link to a site i found by searching for flexwatt. I wired mine in parallel with a dimmer to get temps
Awesome thanks so much! actually the conatiners i found at my dollar general for about 2.50 so a bit cheaper but thanks very much!! I appreciate the time you took to explain for me!! Most people can get mad and just blow you off!! I appreciate your effort thanks!
think hard before choosing what to apply your flexwatt with.
