waspinator421 Jan 21, 2007 07:19 PM

Hey everyone! I was on photographing kick today, so I thought I'd post some updated pictures of my collection. Not all are mexicana, but here they are (except for the two that are sleeping now).

First one is Korben:

That's a fantastic looking group Aubrey. Those white Thayeri are phenominal. If you don't mind me asking who did you get them from? Will they breed for you this year? I have a Cal King that looks just like yours, and I'm expecting a big clutch from her this year. I'm borrowing a friends male that happens to be one I hatched out two years ago, and gave to him. Now he's breeding size, and ready to go. Those are all beautiful animals. Great collection. Fantastic job on the pics also.

Thank you Ken! They are '05 animals from Dan Vermilya. Unfortunately I don't think they'll make it to breeding size this year. I didn't brumate them so they could put on some size, but they still are a bit small. I'll have to be patient and give 'em a go in '08. Man, patience can be hard... I am so excited to see what these two create!

I've read in past threads that thayeri are usually good to go at about 250 grams... is that right? Just wanted to make sure.

Which of my cal kings does yours look like? The banded or the striped? I hope she does give you a big clutch. You'll have to share pictures when they hatch.

Aubrey,

Very nice collection! Thank you for the photo's...I'm with Michelle and Ken...Korben and Artax are my favorites as well but, I prefer leonis thayeri's myself and the nice white ground colors are stellar to boot!

Can't wait to see their offspring...

Thanks for the complimets Jim. I also am partial to the leonis thayeri. That white one of yours is amazing! I really like how some of the saddles have hardly any orange. Where is he/she from?

Aubrey,

Contact Loren at Sundial Reptiles...he has a 1.2 that produced my male (photo) and female. They both have the same male parent but unrelated female parents. The break down is 1.1 were from serpentdan and 0.1 is from Matt at Rio Grande Reptile (vchris stock)...

Later,

My female...

Thanks Rick! I like your Nelson's too. I find that I am beginning to prefer Nelson's with the red tails.

Lester is one good looking dude! It is neat to see snakes related to mine, and how they turned out. I hope Korben looks as nice as Lester when he reaches adult size! Thanks for the picture!
