My "normal" blood seems to be changing slightly in color as he/she grows. The head is getting lighter (closer in color to the faded brown color patches along the spine), and I'm also noticing a few new dark scales in the middle of her light-colored saddles. Even her sides seem to be becoming more mottled where the color changes to white on on belly, almost like the white is creeping more up around her sides.
Is it common for color changes to happen? He/she isn't even a full year old yet but putting on length and girth really well right now.
