277 male blairs alterna

DISCERN Jan 21, 2007 10:15 PM

I have had this guy for about the last 3 1/2 years, and he is quite different than the other graybands I have, with his gray being almost black. I like the darker graybanded examples as much as the lighter gray ones.

Wow... What a great pair my female and your male would make!

The dark/black ones are much harder to find than you might think.. I have been looking for a nice male to pair up with my female for a while now...

Thanks Mike!!
Yeah...I tried hard to find one that was really dark and with bright orange. My friend Don Shores had him before me and when I would go visit, I wouldn't shut up about this 277 male!! I bought him from Don in 2003 and he is full grown and is quite differen than my other alterna. My Sanderson male is dark but not like this.

He was collected by Dave Long about seven years ago as a young adult so he is probably about 10 or 11.
