hey all..thanks for the great advice so far I am bumping my snakes up to 1 adult mouse every 7 days instead of every 14, and I'm wondering if they refuse to eat the mouse after it is thawed if it is safe to re-freeze it, or should I just throw it away??

alot of people say throw it away. But I do refreeze if the miouse is not eaten. I think if you thaw slow then refreezing is ok. I never refreeze more than once though.

One of the snakes seemed to get 'stuck' at the mouse's hip for a little bit. He did get it down but when I put him back one side of his jaw was hanging just slightly down. Like his mouth didnt close all the way after he was finished eating. Is that normal, or should I be concerned??

sounds like he or she didnt re-alline their jaw completely. either it will be fixed on its own or by next feeding. sometimes a snake looks like its "yawning" to fix this problem
