medium monitor

Any Ideas on a medium size monitor for display/educational shows

I'd say Sav or a Blackthroat...the Blackthroats can get humungous,like that big one that SHvar posts,while Savs are smaller 3-4' an occasional 5' and about 15 lbs. or so...

there are not a lot of good choices in the medium range. Dum's and Rougnecks are nice monitors, but it is hard to find healthy specimens. they are also easily stressed, not great with handling, and not a travel/display kind of animal.

Peachies are gorgeous, but not great with handling, skittish, and wouldn't be good for interactive display.

your best bet may be a Savannah, and those are on the high side of medium.

Thanks for the info,

I think I may go with melinus, they are a good size and even if I can not take them to the schools their a very gorgeous animal. Terry Lilley has a cb yearling pair that he is holding. Any other help always appreciated.
