hey i wanted to build a new basking spot, well add a larger platform for my Ackie. I was wondering how would u reccomend keeping together wood/plywood? Like a wood glue, screws? or something else?

I have had excellent results with silicone II available at home depot. It adheares to wood, plastic even glass. Takes temps up to 350 and is not toxic after 2 hrs of cure time. Jeff K

I'm not entirely sure on how or what this platform thing is your making. But if your monitors going to hide in it, and if it will allow it to wedge itself in there (a good thing) glueing and or screwing the boards together is not a good idea. Believe me. If your worrying about your reptile (usually nothing) or need to do something with it. You cant get it out hahahaha. So now i make my Retes stacks so that i can take them apart without a hammer, a crow bar, or a saw hahaha.

he already burrows under it, and im not gluing the entire structure anywhere. All im doing is putting a larger platform on top, right now he's a little akward on his basking spot so just making the surface area a bit bigger.
