Ball pythons LOVE them.... Right now I use them for snakes that dont feed well on regular rats but I might switch the snakes that I wont sell to only African rats since they breed like crazy and the snakes take them so well... I cant feed them to any snakes I am planning to sell cause I dont want them to eat only the African rats and refuse the regular ones...

I have never had a ball refuse an African rat. Its really amazing how strong a feeding response they have to them.

Another plus is that they have a very weak smell... they really dont stink like their domestic cousins....

Where are you located? I am sure that someone that lives close has them.. just ask around

hope this helps

Not just African rats. African soft-furred, soft-furred, or natals. Run a forum search, and you'll come up with info about them. Here are a few pics of mine.
