Carson eats again, and phoenix worms??

profilergirl Jan 23, 2007 03:21 PM

Hi,
I posted a while ago that my dragon had stopped eating. He has since "recovered" and is back to his old self. It seemed to be mostly related to shedding. Once he shed what was left on his tail, his appetite was back and he was much happier. It also coincided with improved weather here. While his tank is the same temp/humidity as usual, our outside weather was -20 for about a week. He's still not a huge fan of crickets, he is eating about 30 a day again though. I ordered some Phoenix worms for him....any thoughts on those compared to silk worms? As for veggies, he hates them. He'll spit them out if he grabs one on accident. Applesauce he loves though.

My dragons love the Phoenix worms. But, some times they come out looking very much the way they went in so I feel they don't digest them very well. I've kinda moved away from them and am just feeding silkworms and crickets.
