At 44 inches and 1300 grams I wouldn't think there would be enough fat stores on her to properly develop her follicles. I would think that a snake that size should be at least 1500 - 1600 grams.

IF you go by the 500g per foot rule, she should be at least 1833g

500gram rule? What the heck, are you talking about?

It's a general rule of thumb that i've heard numerous times about how large a female should be before breeding her : 500g/foot. So if the ball is 36" (and of course at least 2-3yrs old), the snake should be at least 1500g before breeding.

never heard that rule

4 foot balls weigh around ? 1300 grams at times I supose

fat balls are just that

and I know a guy that claims to breed 600 grammers.......I think they are more like 1100 but anyways........

I breed 20 month old 1400 - grammers and get 9 eggs alot of times......

do as you wish.....it's all your own game........
