Here is the gravid Hairy Emerald Tree Bush (ETB) Viper today.
She was roaming around much the last few weeks in the evening so for the sake of it, I tossed in 15 tiny tree frogs and she sucked them up like gum drops - much to my surprise as this subspecies are supposed to consume mainly slugs, although some literature states they eat frogs (never had that luck with other hispidus I kept).
She also still roams in the early morning looking for a heat source for her babies. I turn on her light and she goes directly under it and basks all day and sleeps. When I move the heat lamp to the other side of the cage, she wakes up and goes over to it as does the gravid sedge viper.
She has doubled her belly size since getting her a month or so ago.
And I wear a diaper constantly just in case she has a good load of live babies.

Make sure to separatet the babies from the mother the minute they drop. With any luck, maybe you'll end up with a few animals that don't have whatever seems to be killing all the adults that come in.
