and do some herping. I understand the New Jersey Pine Barrens are a great place. I am already having zonata and San Francisco Garter withdrawl. Do you guys even have herps out here?

welcome east dr. j.......pa. actually used to have a blue law that stated no reptile or amphibian captures on sunday....and i'll bet it's still on the books. that was one we always paid strict attention to...LOL! where are you exactly?
right near the Penn campus. For right now until my place opens on Tuesday, I am in Center City with the woman. I'd love to get a beer or do some herping if you can find the time.
By the way, is there any worthwhile night driving anywhere nearby? There's nothing more peaceful/fun than a successful night drive. Occasionly up in NorCal, we would have 30 snake nights. I have a feeling I am going to miss them.
Anyway, it's time I got indoctrinated into this East Coast thing. (A.C. no sheep though) Just kidding.

a possible arrest. lol! the way we normally do it here dr. j is by going out early in the morning to the country and start flipping stuff around the farms or visiting dumpsites. that's where everything is it seems......anyway you are close by. we all basically live at the other end of walnut street from you [except for ac], where philly ends and delaware county begins. you're maybe 30 mins. away w/ traffic. i'll get in touch w/ rick, steve, ac and see if we can stir something up.....maybe go down the zoo and take the 50 cent tour followed of course by the club duke tour, the pine barrens tour, etc. you get the idea...if you want to see the liberty bell or betsy ross's house.....you're on your own. ;-] i'll email you after you get settled this week. have fun and don't wander off the campus esp. at night!
