colouring.

I have a crested gecko, just under a year old, and she hasn't been eatting properly, she seems to be lazy, and doesn't want to chase her crickets all the time. Today when I took her out, she had some strange spotting. I don't have access to a camera until later, but for now, I can describe it.
It almost looks like bruising around her ribs. The colouring continues around her tail. I know that crested's tails can be slightly different from the rest of their bodies, but it seems to be darker than it was before.
I don't know why she looks like this, but I know that she shed three days ago, and I don't know if this maybe has anything to do with it?
Anyway, if anyone can help, that would be really helpful.
Thanks.
C.

Posting a picture will certainly help with this.
However, just a quick note that I have a couple of "buckskin" brown that 'camouflages'/turns lighter dependant on where they are hanging out. This can create some really cool designs if they have a leaf draped across their back

hello. the black has faded away for the most part, so i am assuming that it was not anything too severe. i dont have a picture of what it was, because when i got home, it was gone.
so if it comes back, i will tke a picture, but for now, the camoflauge idea seems to be a good fit.
thank you so much for your time!
