I will be leaving my N. California Foot Hill residence on a herping trip up HWY 88 in the Edarodo National Forest in the Pipi Valley area. All are welcome to tag along. I will be driving my White 1994 Pontiac Bonneville to the location and from the Pipi Campground parking lot I will be taking my Mountain bike up the hill and off on every trail at least up to the Elkins Flat Jeep Trail. Hope to see other herpers there. This trip is for collecting and I have a few studies to do. I am looking for 1 Charina bottae and 2-3 Sceloporus occidentalis and whatever ells might catch my eye. I will be leaving at about 4am in hopes to reach my destination no later than 5:30am-6am I will be there until about 4pm if all goes well.

Well my trip went pretty good. I colected one Garter Snake, One Sharp Tail Snake and one Western Fence Lizards. I love the woods and cant wait to go back.
