Like most of your other pics this one is just as nice. He is a very nice looking snake. Any breeding plans for him?

indeed a beauty, but that snake definitely looks like it has some nelsoni influence to me.

It's quite possible he does have some, but I will say it wasn't because of the "mad rush" to produce albino "nelsoni", as he was purchased way before they were ever known!(LOL)....best regards,.................................................Doug

yeah i am no expert i was just thinking of sinaloae i've seen with wider red bands/lower triad count.just the first thing that i noticed, but i'm no milk expert,if there could be such a thing....but regardless, great color and muscle tone on that one.

Thanks,.....I'm glad you like his bold coloration and fitness as I do.........you are absolutely correct when you commented on the wider red rings of most, and I would tend to agree with what you said about him having some possible "Sinaloan" influence from his lineage. He just didn't have it introduced from a captive breeder was my main point........I think you might of seen the below photo already, but in case you haven't, this is a male "nelsoni" I acquired many years ago before they were seen in the hobby, and is absolutely the BEST example of "nelsoni" that I have ever seen to this day!!!. After comparing this to most others in the hobby, I think you'll agree that almost ALL of the "nelsoni" you see out there are influenced from the Sinaloan.............bye the way,......I've read many of your posts, and have agreed with you on MANY ISSUES!!!.......best regards,...............................................Doug

Nice! I love sinaloans, and the red on that one is great. Where did you get it?

I see you have some nice Sinaloans too!!........My records for him are on an old harddrive, and I can't remember off-hand who I bought him from, as it was many years ago!!(LOL)...anyway, thanks..............................................Doug

That's stunning Doug.
Its hard to find nice clean classic siniloans and even harder is finding true classic nelsoni.

I have always like the Sinaloans. Most times mine have 12 or so b/w/b bands but I really like it when I get 'em down to 10 or less. None this year though...

Mark,.......that's a very nice example of Sinaloan you have.........I agree on your statement about wanting less rings also, as that is (as you know)what mainly seperates them from nelsoni.(except broken first band, and black bands tapering dorsally)....below is a male nelsoni I acquired many years ago before they were seen in the hobby, It is probably the best example I have EVER seen to this day!!...I think you will agree after seeing this one, that most "nelsoni" in the hobby are not pure strains, as almost ALL of them have some "Sinaloan" influence............................best regards,.......Doug
