what does tip out mean.

tipped out or tipping refferes to the edge of the scales getting a dark tip to them as the snake matures.Some actually look good when they are all tipped out.
I think this little honduran looks great with all the tipping.sometimes if they are heavey tipped as babies they will turn out bi-colored as adults because the tipping over runs the under layer.

its hard to really say but the better (less tipped) a baby is the better it will look as a adult.If you want a snake (honduran that is)that doesn't tip much get a hypo.A hypo is reduced black melanin and thus reduced tipping.If you want a nice milk with no tipping spring for a extreme hypo.

yes, hondurans (L.triangulum hondurensis) are milks.
