Nice looking trio, the middle female has nice crescents and the second female may have nice crescents as well. (there is a hint of crescents in tub reflection lower right) Looking forward to more pics once they settle in. Is the male partially opaque?

Thanks! I do believe that the male is at the beginning of a shed cycle, so I'll have to wait before I can see his true colors. The second female's cresents aren't as nice as the first girl's, but nice nonetheless.

They are the first BRBs in our collection, so we're really excited. I've wanted to get into them for awhile, but had to convince the husband (He's not a snake guy, he like the business end while I like the animals). Its so hard not to go in there and take them out for pictures, etc.. but I keep telling myself its better not to.

LOL, we're the reverse, the snakes are my passion while my wife prefers the business end. Sounds like a good "yin yang" thing, works for us.

Wait until you breed and decide which ones to keep, that's where the real screamers come from. I have several I've kept back that I've never seen the likes of. I'm sure they're out there, but in private collections and never left the place they were born. As you can see from my sig, I've been building my collection for a while and am bursting at the seams.

That male looks like he might be bright when he sheds and I particularly like the tangerines and crescents on the first female. Are you going to try and sneak them in this year for breeding? Dave you already know you're bursting at the seams with Phoenix and Amber (u know my favs) so I'll go with your bci's. Love your triple het moonglow, Kahl albino poss. het. anery by Al B. and I'm a sucker for an anery so I like your male but can't wait til you post pics of your coral albino.

Hey Bob, ya lost me.... "Are you going to try and sneak them in this year for breeding?" ???? If you're refering to pheonix and amber, they are only 1.5 years old now. Way to early, Pheonix should be good to go next year but Amber is a bit of a slow grower and I expect will be 2008/2009 before she will be ready.

I do have a large selection of BRB's breeding this year, four seperate trios, a pair including a young male hypo and two other females out on breeding loan. Total of 11 possible litters!! AND, have some BCI's that have been going at it. Five possible pairings:
M x f

Het coral albino pos jungle x Het coral albino - She's huge and I'm fairly certain gravid but she never had a POS???

Albino het snow x DH snow - appears gravid

Albino pos het stripe x DH sunglow - still working her

Two other pairings were with young males and they both did nothing. I put my Albino het snow with them so:

Albino het snow x Salmon (pos super)
x Pastel circle back ladder tail

He's been working them both off and on. Need to pull him soon and give him a meal if he'll eat.

Don't have a Coral albino - YET, maybe in a few months will have one born but will have to wait another 6 months for the coraling to show. And if I get lucky, the pos jungle will prove out and I'll have a coral albino jungle!

We may try to get them in this year, but aren't sure yet. One of the females bred last year (with the male), so it depends how well she seems to be doing, and the other girl is a virgin- but has the size, weight and age. I tried to take some better pictures with the light coming through our window, but light bouncing off the two going into shed makes them harder to see, lol.

nice pics and she is beautiful

I like Tofu the best, is she in shed as well? Pics are hard to judge but both look like the have the bulk required. Was Larva the female bred last year? She looks a little less filled out, more spine showing. Gobball does look he has some interesting color hiding under there.

Always amazes me how good care will bring out the screaming colors. I always go back to my Savannah, she was brought to me at a show by another vendor. Wanted to know if I'd be interested in an adult female. When they pulled her out, she was all dried out, crappy shed stuck on her, eye caps all crusty. BUT, underneath all that I could see something hiding, the drop dead gorgeous BRB she is. She is the mother of two of my best ever holdbacks, Amber and Pheonix.

Wish I had taken before pics, only have now pics. Like most, she is much brighter red in person:

Next two pics taken on same day, one mid day, the other in the evening

Yeah, she is in shed as well. Larva was the one bred last year, and if we do decide to breed her it will not be until the end of the season and only if she is 100% again.
She is very pretty, although who could say no to taking an obviously mistreated animal off someones hands? I hate when I see people buy and not know how to care for them. Looks like you did well by her though!
