That would indeed be big news! Or are they captive hatched from wild-caught females from an Indonesian facility, the usual source?
Thanks,
Joan

I hope this guy does respond. There would be ALOT of people that would like to talk to him about his husbandry techniques. There has been one successful breeding with Boeleni that I know of and at the moment I am pretty sure there is only one true CBB Boeleni in the world right now.
Just my thoughts.........
who produced those? that has to be like a world what first for captive bred and born boelens wow more info please and one of those lil snakes over here would be nice also
PLEASE PLEASE GIVE A PRICE ON IT!!!!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE FOR 2 YEARS NOW PLEASE!!!1
Adults come on the market every so often. There were 2 at daytona last year.
Seems that the person isn't answering questions about breeding

The hatchlings were captive bred in Indo. Micheal has all of the data with pictures. These are legally imported captive hatch hatchlings. Anyone interested in this species check out boelenspythons.com Marc
Are you his spokesman?
No I am a friend and have purchased snakes from Michael before. I was trying to be helpful by providing an answer to a question asked by another member.
thanx spataro87, that is an awesome website. very well put together. do you own boeleni?
Yes I have a group of them with several captive hatched adults from 2002. I have two pairs breeding currently keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the compliments more is being added at a rapid rate so please check back periodically. Marc

Ive had probably 20 or 25 boelens over the years.. From red babies to 10' adults. Ive had them breed though Ive never kept them very long, i was selling at the time and not breeding. Wish I would have kept all of them. I think one of my females is one of the breeders that the guy in FL has bred!! Anyway, they need to get cold enough to develop and produce eggs. Ive never seen a boelens get resp infection, either in captivity or as a wild caught or imported animal.
They do love to bask and ive done best with giving them shredded news paper, thin strips inside the hide and on flood of cage.. They will burrow and I also tend to keep them dark, very dark on one side of the cage.
ive always let the snake pick if they want to be hot or cold and had them in cages that would let them pick this. But with boelens almost always they will pick to bask at very warm temps if they can.. Its built into them as a cloud forest animal to bask when they get the chance. So this is the only snake i regulated their basking. I think its the key to them producing good eggs..
anyway, what does everyone else think?? I will post this on marcs site also...

Just about 4-5 months ago you told me you had no room for any adult boelen's at your place. Remember when I offered them to you. Now all of a sudden you have produced CBB offspring??? Or at least that's what it sounds like you want us to believe. Whatever bro...
