So I finally got a piece of camera equipment made after 1980. I am not exaggerating either, my original setup is built around Canon AE1 manual focus bodies and lenses.

A few years ago I picked up a digital point and shoot to play with. While I like a lot of the benefits of digital, I could not stand the loss of exposure control. So I finally gave in and picked up a Canon 20D and a 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom. Now I just need to work on building up my lens collection for EOS bodies, and getting some pics of the BP's.

Wow thats a great picture. How much does the camera and lens go for?

An albino BP.

The body retails for a little over $1000, but I found mine for $900 from beach camera on amazon. The lens is around $300 but I forget exactly how much. The 30D is the newer body, but the 20D is almost the exact same thing minus a spot meter, bigger display, and a little speed. But the 20D is a few hundred cheaper, and has everything I need.
